Jean McCandless is a Geriatric Social Worker and Care Manager with thirty-five years experience working with adults and families. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago and is certified by both the National Association of Social Workers and the Aging Life Care Association. Jean is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Vermont.
She also has substantial experience serving adults with disabilities, including Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Developmental Disabilities, and is a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) for the State of Vermont.
As an experienced Professional Geriatric Care Manager, Jean provides elders and their adult children with respectful, well-coordinated services, including:

Jean works with many other community providers to deliver the high quality services that families need for their elders, whether they want them to remain in their homes, or move into a residential program. Families often seek help during major transitions and unexpected crises when difficult life decisions must be made. Jean specializes in working with families with older family members living at a distance.
